With this all-new series called “Victors”, I will be sharing inspiring stories and experiences of different individuals I meet.

Meet Mr. Rupert, the Assistant General Manager at Jetwing Ayurveda Pavilions. Mr. Rupert has been an employee at the Jetwing hotels for over 25 years. One might wonder why would he be employed in the same organization for nearly two and a half decades.

Their loyalty to the company comes from nothing but the way they have been treated and respected by their employer over the past years. “They treat us like family. They look after us. Working for them is our way of saying thank you.” says Mr. Rupert.

A few years ago, Mr. Rupert underwent a kidney transplant. Even though he had doubts about his paycheck and medical expenses, Jetwing Hotels didn’t let him down. He was granted two years of paid leave by the company and they took care of his medical expenses. Not only that, he was visited by the top directors at Jetwing and they ensured that Mr. Rupert received everything he needed for a speedy recovery.

If you are thinking that it’s impossible to retain employees within an organization, well think again. People like Mr. Rupert are not hard to come by. Respect them, treat them well and they are most likely to be loyal to you.
